The Win List โ Bank 5 Real Wins to Beat Impostor Doubt (Decision)
Impostor doubt whispers that you're not good enough. The Win List is the answer: five concrete, verifiable wins that you can point to. Real evidence that you're better than you think.

The idea
Impostor syndrome is real, and high-achievers feel it most โ the gap between "I did it" and "I'm actually good at this." The fix is evidence. A Win List is a collection of five concrete, verifiable wins: a project you shipped, feedback you got, a number you hit, a decision you made, money you earned, something you learned, someone you helped. Written down, specific, with dates or numbers when possible. The act of writing it down makes it real. The act of reading it beats the impostor voice. Week after week, month after month, the list grows โ and eventually your brain believes the evidence over the self-doubt.
Who is this for?
Rohan Malhotra
Product Manager ยท Gurgaon
Rohan shipped products but felt like a fraud every promotion. Self-doubt was constant despite clear success.
He started a Win List: shipped features, user feedback, revenue numbers, decisions made, problems solved. Five wins, written, with dates.
Reading it monthly, he couldn't argue with the evidence. A year later, impostor doubt was still there, but it had less power.
"I couldn't feel successful. The Win List gave me proof that I was. Now the impostor voice is just noise โ the evidence is louder."
What you'll get
Five real, verifiable wins listed
Concrete things you achieved: projects, feedback, numbers, decisions, outcomes โ written, dated, specific.
Proof against impostor doubt
Evidence you can point to when your brain says "you're not good enough." The evidence says different.
One win to share publicly
You choose one win from your list and share it โ not bragging, just evidence.
A running list you build weekly
One Win List started. Every week, add five more. After a year, 260 wins. The impostor voice can't compete with that.

Do the challenge
1List five wins from this week or month
Be specific: a project shipped, feedback received, a number (revenue, users, speed improvement), a decision made, a problem solved, someone you helped, something you learned. Put a date on it. Example: "Shipped the payment feature (July 20) โ users up 40% in the first week."
๐ก Wins don't have to be huge. "Finished a report," "solved a blocker for the team," "got praised for my presentation," "shipped a fix nobody asked for but everyone needed" โ these all count.
2Make it specific, not vague
Not "did good work." Instead: "Reduced page load from 4s to 1.8s (July 22). Users noticed in feedback: 'So fast now.' Our bounce rate dropped 12%."
๐ก Help me write five specific wins from this week/month. For each: [what I did, when, what happened as a result]. Make it concrete, with numbers or feedback. Frame them as facts the impostor voice can't argue with.
3Pick one win to share
From your five, choose one you're proud of. Share it with your team, your manager, or your network โ not to brag, but as honest proof: "I shipped this. Here's what happened." This is your decision for today.
4Do this every week, add to the list
A running Win List grows: weekly, monthly, yearly. Read it when impostor doubt hits. After six months, the list is undeniable. After a year, you have 260 wins. The voice gets quieter.
